Resetting the LimitedTime quests to be once per account has caused major issues. At first when I logged in I was pleasantly surprised to see the LTQ was once per char. I thought "ooooh finally a smart decision, more people will play more in order to farm SG so maybe we won't be down to half a block on Ship 2 anymore".

Grind isn't that bad. I'm completely free, started playing in September and have a max level Force with a Profound Rod that dropped from Persona. I am just missing the 150 Void Fragments to upgrade it. Its better than most JRPGs cause there are events that will give you a leg up fairly frequently. Manic_Suppression.

Extreme Solo. On January 13th, a new Extreme Quest will be added, with a few restrictions. It consists of a mere 10 floors and can only be cleared once per week. It also costs 5 Extreme Passes to run at all and as the subtitle suggests it can only be run solo. Clearing the quest will give you a chance at earning a class sticker. That's it.

PSO2 is action style, with focus on dodging/iframing/blocking enemy attacks, with cool counters, or charged abilities, stuff like that. There's a ton of 3dimensional movement, and it generally looks cooler. NGS gives you all your main attacks at the start, usually a basic attack, a weapon action, and 4 photon arts.

Each run consists of this: 30 seconds waiting for them to drop you down, 30 seconds total consisting mostly of running to the next parts, and 30 seconds of blowing up everything that spawns with the bombs. Each run takes 1~2 minutes that way. Leveling a new character makes it a breeze.

There are tons of ways to make mesetas. Extreme Quest is one of them if you don't want to burn your excubes. It's recommended to clear at least until stage 65 for every basic Extreme quest so you can replay any stages you want. Some stages offer more mesetas than the other. The drops seem to be the same between both versions, so it's a personal preference. 4player is easier to beat since dying doesn't fail it automatically and the order on stage 2 is easier (don't heal for 30 seconds, while the solo version is don't take damage).
